First started in 1992 by traders from picturesque New Street and Friar Street, the Victorian Fayre has grown into one of the Midlands’ most loved festive events. While it’s bigger than ever, it still stays true to its traditional roots—filled with Victorian-themed characters, festive treats, and a magical Christmas atmosphere.

✨ This year, you’ll discover almost 200 stalls across the city centre, offering local arts and crafts, delicious street food, and unique gifts.

Alongside the stalls, enjoy a packed programme of entertainment:

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Cardiff Christmas Market, where our beautifully decorated wooden stalls ✨ can be found along St John Street, Working Street, Trinity Street and Hills Street.

Unlike many other Christmas markets, here in Cardiff you can be sure that every stall offers original, handcrafted treasures 🎁. From 💍 bespoke silver jewellery,  wooden-turned gifts, 🖼️ unique artwork,  fused glass, hand-thrown ceramics,  quilts and textiles… plus a mouth-watering selection of 🍪 seasonal treats and 🍷 festive drinks—you’ll find the perfect mix of gifts and goodies in a truly magical atmosphere.

Our much-loved exhibitors are back again this year, but they never stand still—always creating new pieces so their stalls feel fresh and inspiring. You’ll also discover new makers at our 🌟 Taster Stalls on Trinity Street, bringing even more creativity and festive sparkle.
